For taxes what is the difference between being a citizen or a resident. Can you be a citizen of one country and a resident of another and where would you pay taxes?

Why would the gains on a Roth IRA be taxable to a European country? I understand the principal would not, but I'd rather have none of the funds be taxable. A draw is not a taxable event for US taxes, why would it be for the European country?

Thank you for this presentation! We love spending time in the UK, but I’m confused about timing of the 6-month limit. For example, we stayed in the UK from April to July this year. If we went back in October, would we be able to stay just two more months? Or would that start another 6-month period? Thanks!

In Europe - what kind of local taxes are paid? Income, property (rental or owned), municipal, town, county, regional? Or just national? Health care taxes?
