Is Ireland affordable on a fixed income of about 90,000 (for a couple)? 68,000 if I go alone.

There are a lot of countries that sound great. The biggest difficulties that I have trouble getting real information about are:
my wife is in memory care because of Alzheimers. Which countries would allow me to bring her? Which countries have affordable care for her, preferably at home with me using aides. I do have enough money for this.
Which countries would be better if you have no car and do not drive. -

May be you should not généralisé and pay attention to more detailed info. In Spain locals are fed up with increase RE prices linked to multiple properties used as airbnb and no longer available for the long term rental market and over tourism in large cities such as Barcelona. For those very reasons I would look at moving somewhere else. Some of the Brit tourists are unfortunately not well behaved: read drunk, obnoxious and making no effort to learn any Spanish. In the Paris metro, you always need to be careful and alert, nothing new alas, was already the case in the early 80's when I was working there as well as being aware of bag snatching. Some areas of Marseille are indeed plague by drug dealing and other Nice ties. A few cities in the USA can compète with that too. Common sense dictates finding an area where you feel confortable, not writing off whole countries on the basis of some bad areas.

Wow, .You need a man to protect you? I am 72, go to France every year, I visit Spain and Portugal regularly and recently visited Panama and Costa Rica. I feel rather invisible in that regard, which most of the time suits me fine. I don't want to be invisible to get service in a restaurant though.

I would love to live in a place with constant spring like weather. I don’t like hot humid tropical climates. My initial research suggests the following:

Medellin ColumbiaCould you compare the pros and cons of these places? Could you include things not usually covered byIL, insects, disease, crime etc. Are there other places I should consider?

We don't speak any language but English. I've tried to learn, but perhaps we need better tools. I know a few words of Spanish. I have health issues that require a combination of regular and alternative treatments and meds. And we'd like a place with moderate temps that is affordable and maybe within an hour of a beach. Is all that even realistic in any of these destinations? If we visit places first, do you offer help to visit the best areas to live for expats?

One of my basic concerns would be availability and cost of health insurance for me 73 and my wife 70 years old.
Also the offers of a 2 bedroom & 2 bathroom apartment , house or similar.
Where to find B&B at reasonable prices to rent while scouting the areas. Car rentals too. -
Hello! We are considering retiring to either France, Mexico, Panama or Portugal. Visas can be somewhat tricky. Do you recommend an immigration attorney to assist us with this process? If so, would that be an attorney in the U.S. or in the country we are considering? And how do we get a list of knowledgeable and reputable attornies? Also, I read that it is advisable to get an attorney to review home or apartment rental contracts since laws vary in these countries. How would we get a good attorney for this process as well? Thank you!

Hello! We are considering retiring to either France, Mexico, Panama or Portugal. Visas can be tricky. Do you recommend consulting an immigration attorney first? And would they be attornies in the U.S. or the country we are interested in? And how do we find these attornies? A similar question relates to renting a home or apartment. I read that it is a good idea to have a local attorney review the contract since countries have very different laws related to this process. Any thoughts or information would be greatly appreciated.
