International Living Community

Hi IL Community,
I have been playing with the idea of moving to another country for some time now. I currently live in Southern California so I'm sure there are many places much less expensive to live. I've had my eye on Berlin, Germany because I love their culture, food, and people but I am open to other locations. The things that matter most to me are being able to walk to stores, restaurants, or a bar to catch a sports game while sipping a cocktail, good health care services, a vibrant nightlife, a sense of community pride but welcoming to visitors, and a good public transportation system. I look forward to hearing about others' living abroad experiences and possibly get ideas for places to visit that I might consider for my new home.
