Hi Bel,
I am considering Mexico for retirement living and will be looking for rental property for myself and miniature poodle. I have traveled to Mexico on numerous occasions, both interior and coastal. Cozumel is great for diving, but I am more interested in interior locations such as Morelia. Been to Parras, but not thinking of that for retirement, just a Peckinpah fan and wanted to see where most of the Wild Bunch was filmed.
Also, I loved Zihuanteneo (sorry about the spelling) prior to Xtapa being built, however, Ziwa would interest me, depending on rental and medical facilities.
Not interested in San Miguel; however, I like the looks of Huatulco but unable to find any small rental units there.
Any recommendations would be appreciated, also looking for an active ex-pat community as part of recommendations.
