Taxation in Thailand -
Taxation in ThailandI get a lot of questions about rumour of new tax laws in Thailand. This site offers the most comprehensive information about taxes on pensions in Thailand that I have found. I'm no expert, but this guy is: https://www.expattaxthailand.com/taxation-overseas-pensions-thailand/#:~:text=Other%20Non%2DRemitted%20Pensions%3A%20Any,not%20brought%20into%20the%20country..

Best international living countries/areas for black AmericansHello there! Thailand is very friendly to all races. I've seen an increase in the number of black Americans living here during the past few years, especially couples. The Philippines is also quite open and friendly with many retired military members from all races choosing the island nation as their new home. When it comes to openness and diversity, Southeast Asia is hard to beat.

The Best Regions in the World for Retirement 2025Hello again Jill! I went to Chiang Mai to help a friend renovate an old guest house in the Old City. It is a very charming and cool place, but I'm a beach person and Chiang Mai is in the misty mountains of the north. I still go up to visit a couple of times per year.

The Best Regions in the World for Retirement 2025Hi Jill! Visas in Thailand seem to get easier every year. There are several new visa options including some "golden visas" and digital nomad visas. Most changes in visa policy are designed to make it easier, not harder.
