    Hi, all-
Though I love my home state of California, Ive been ready to move abroad for many (20+) years. I speak French quite fluently, or at least reasonably conversant, and my Spanish is improving.

I've been wanting to move to France, but lately Uruguay and Equador have been interesting to me as well.

    Happy to meet you!

      Hi Lisa,

Nice to meet you! If you're still thinking of France, feel free to send me any questions you may have: france@internationalliving.com

The plus for France (besides all the great food!) is that it's fairly easy to obtain a visa to stay long-term, and the healthcare system is excellent.

Best of luck and please let me know if I can be of help.

      Tuula, IL France Correspondent

Being a Native Californian can give you a unique perspective on what it feels like to consider building a new life abroad. France, Uruguay, and Ecuador all offer different cultures, languages, and lifestyles, so it is interesting to hear how your long-term plans have evolved and which destination now feels like the best fit. For adults who vape, the Lost Vape Orion Bar 7500 Disposable is another topic people may come across, particularly for its portable design and flavour variety. Overall, exploring new places and connecting with different communities can make the journey of considering an international move even more interesting.
