    Hello Everyone!
    Love this new forum.
I'd appreciate recommendations for where to go for excellent and reasonable restorative dental care. Relative ease of travel is a necessary consideration. If you have a specific personal recommendation, all the better.
    Thank you very much,
    Cathrine

Hola from Mexico, we have very good dental care and because of it's close with cheap flights a lot of people make a holiday out of it when getting dental work done. I would suggest picking a place in Mexico you've always wanted to visit and with the money you save you can have a nice little vacation as well.

Hi @CBHARTWELL143 Thanks for your question!

Here is a link to one of our articles which includes recommendations for dental treatments:

          Hi Catherine,
We live in italy and I am the IL Correspondent for Italy and we receive excellent healthcare here, BUT... I wanted to recommend Mexico as well. We were there for other reasons and a problem popped up and wound up doing 6 caps, a filling, and two cleanings for around $2,500. The dentists were excellent and are as pleased as we could be! My husband and I both go to Prisma Dental in San Jose, Costa Rica. I wrote an article about dental tourism for International Living which you can find here: https://internationalliving.com/where-to-get-top-notch-dental-care-on-vacation/

Hi Catherine, you didn't specify from where you want relatively easy travel, so I will assume US. Sani Dental Group in Mexico has clinics close to 2 major airports. I am happy with the work they did for me; happier than with my last 3 US dentists (the standard of care was better.) Michelle

Great to hear fom you with your very interesting article on Bali. And yes, you have tried to balance your article with talking about the downsides(bad roads, no road, washed out roads). However there are many people like me who come from a snake-free environment. Maybe you should have mentioned that some of the deadliest and aggressive snakes in the world reside in places like Bali ( and Costa Rica). /CG.
