Hi, I live in Florida, USA. Tired of US drama. Portugal sounds good, but I am concerned about the feelings of native Portugal residents being displaced by wealthy Americans. I like Costa Rica, but my wife does not like their position on women's rights.

Any suggestions on countries that are safe, less expensive than the US and has expat communities. We are in our mid 70's so this will be our last move.
