Hello, My husband and I are also considering moving to Portugal, possibly Tavirna. We of course need to check it out and would like to explore other areas of Portugual. (We've been to Porto and although we loved it, think there may even better economic options for rentals). Do you know if there is a "best" way to get a rental for 2-3 months before going there possibly on the air bnb app with a discount, and or iealista? Also, we have a 9 lb chihaua we will want to bring with us.

Hello IL community! Has anyone lived in Porto or any other part of Portugal where they can share their experiences pros and cons. We just came back from a lovely time in Porto, but were only there a week and didn't get to explore Caminha as intended. We noticed that rent as well as housing has gone up significantly, and are looking for similar qualities as Porto with more affordability in these areas.

How many months can one live annually in Portugal from the U.S. without triggering being taxed there , (if one isn't a citizen, permanent resident, or have Golden Visa)? We may consider moving there, but need to spend time in each area of interest first.

Is there a way to rent for 5 - 6 months, or is it better to do AirBnB?
